Statement from our Chair – Mary Simpson

Dear Members,

As care providers we find ourselves in unprecedented times, something we have not faced in our lifetime. There is fear and anxiety but also hope and determination, we together will get through these difficult times. We have a vital role to play as an effective barrier for preventing hospital admissions and protected our NHS colleagues.

This is a time for collaboration and working together and are keen to hear from you about the issues you are facing and how we can work together to resolve these. I would also like to hear about the good works you are doing and innovation to support autistic people so we can share good practice and your fabulous ideas.

We are updating the website with information and resources on COVID-19 and some of the initiatives our members have already taken, we would love to hear from you.
