Learning disability: He/she has significant learning disability if can not be  educated with same effort than majority of children of same age.

Dyslexia: The British psychological society defines dyslexia as…..evident when accurate and fluent word reading and/or spelling develops incompletely or with great difficulty.In other words specific reading and writing difficulty.

 what is learning difficulty?

(a) He/she has significant learning difficulty than majority of children of same age.

(b)Has disability which prevents or hinders the child from making the use of educational facilities of a kind generally provided for children of same age in schools within the area of  the local education authority.

(c) Is under 5 and falls within the definition of (a) & (b) above or would do so if specail education provision was not made for child.

What is the Special educational Needs provision?

This is a provision of special education to the children who cannot be taught with the same provision of mainstream school as expected for all children.

The stages of special educational needs are as follows:

1.Early years.

2.Early years plus.

3.School years.

4.School action plus.

5.Statement of special educational needs.
